Below you can trace the key milestones through our journey to become one of Brisbane's most recognised suburban accounting and financial services firms.

| 15 August 1979 | John Eales joined Trevor Watters and the firm Watters Eales & Co was established with a small office in Logan City. |
| 20 October 1982 | Sally Portley joined the firm as Manager. |
| 1 April 1985 | John Eales and Trevor Watters purchased a small practice in Brisbane’s CBD and appointed Des Robinson as a third Partner to manage that practice. The name of the firm was changed to Watters Eales & Robinson. |
| 1 June 1987 | Trevor Watters moved to Sydney to pursue his career ambitions in the field of computer software development for the accounting profession. At the same time, Des Robinson took over the Brisbane CBD office. |
| 1 July 1989 | The firm merged with Fell & McGarry Chartered Accountants to become Fell Eales McGarry. The Partners were David McGarry, Brendan McGarry and John Eales based in Brisbane and John Fell and James Laird based in Gympie. The Administration Manager of the merged business was Ron Schimpf. |
| 1 July 1989 | Ron Schimpf became a full time member of the merged firm as Practice Manager, having been with Fell & McGarry since 1984. |
| 31 March 1992 | The Fell Eales McGarry partnership was harmoniously dissolved – the result being the formation of 3 autonomous practices – each with the name Fell Eales McGarry (Brisbane CBD, Logan City and Gympie). |
| 1 October 1992 | The firm formed an alliance with Advisor Investment Services, and subsequently Professional Investment Services, to provide financial planning and wealth creation services, under the management of Mike Blessington – operating from the CBD office and our office. |
| 14 June 1993 | Damian Knoblanche joined the firm as Manager. |
| 1 July 1996 | Sally Portley was appointed Partner after 14 years with the firm. |
| 1 July 1996 | Damian Knoblanche was appointed Partner after 3 years with the firm. |
| 1 April 1998 | The Gympie practice changed its name to Fell Laird (and subsequently Laird McFee). |
| 1 July 1998 | Mike Blessington joined the firm on a full-time basis as Manager of our Financial Planning division. |
| 17 May 1999 | The firm relocated to our current Upper Mt Gravatt office from Logan City. |
| 1 April 2002 | The firm launched a Risk Insurance division. |
| 1 July 2002 | The firm merged with the business of Gower Lewis Cooley Chartered Accountants, integrating their clients and staff into our firm. |
| 1 October 2002 | The firm launched Nexus Collections as its debt recovery division, with Ron Schimpf as Manager. |
| 1 July 2006 | Troy Edmondson joined the firm as Manager of our Risk Insurance division. |
| 23 July 2006 | The firm launched Peak Lending Solutions as its commercial and personal finance broking division, under the management of Chris Coonan. |
| 1 March 2007 | The Peak Partnership appointed it's first Associate. |
| 1 July 2007 | Fell Eales McGarry (UMG) became The Peak Partnership Chartered Accountants. Our business units also had a make-over, relaunching as:
