John Eales

One of the Foundation Partners of the firm, John has been instrumental in developing The Peak Partnership into one of Brisbane’s best known accounting practices. John is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) degree from QUT. A career financial professional, John’s other qualifications and affiliations include:

• Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA);
• Member of CPA Australia;
• Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia;
• Registered Tax Agent;
• Financial Planning Specialist accreditation with ICAA; and
• Authorised Representative of Professional Investment Services Pty Ltd – The Peak Partnership’s financial planning affiliate.

As a highly-respected practitioner, John represented the ICAA and CPA Australia as the accounting profession’s representative on the Tax Agents Board of Queensland until its cessation in November 2009. He is also a director and honorary treasurer of ACT for Kids (formerly the Abused Child Trust).
