Steve Downs

Steve heads up our Nexus Debt Recovery Solutions business, offering our commercial clients a range of debt collection and accounts receivable (debtor management) services.

Steve has worked in the finance industry since 1985, specialising in credit management and risk management for much of that time. Steve understands the balance between extending credit as an effective sales tool and managing any potential exposure to bad debts. He also has a wealth of experience in recovering overdue payments while maintaining harmonious relationship between supplier and customer.

Steve is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Credit Management; a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and he is a Commissioner for Declarations (Qld).

Steve's business mantra is to focus on providing outstanding debt recovery and credit management services that consistently exceed every client's expectations.
