This month, our staff profile focuses on Kornel Domonji, our not-so-new Superannuation Manager. Kornel is a fan of self-managed superannuation, and he's brought valuable strategic thinking and process efficiencies to The Peak Partnership Superannuation Solutions area.
I started in August 2008… so just over 18 months.
Tell us about your role and how you came to work in superannuation?My role is to assist trustees with the administration, compliance and strategy of their self managed superannuation funds.
I must admit I sort of fell into Superannuation while at University back in 1999. At that point in time I found it very interesting and I decided to pursue a career solely in Superannuation. Who knew that it would grow to become such a dynamic and constantly changing industry. It’s certainly received it fair share of media coverage of late!
What is the best thing about working at The Peak Partnership?The supportive environment!
Define yourself in one word?Love the outdoors…sorry that’s three!
Who or what inspires you?Passionate individuals who don’t take no for an answer!
Scary movies or happy endings?Happy endings.
What is your one 'must-do' in life?Have no regrets.
What is the first thing you notice about people?Generally their eyes.
Do you have a special talent?No..but I’m pretty handy with a pair of BBQ tongs.
What will you be doing in 10 years from now?Hopefully sitting in a shiny new boat, fishing a remote river of the Northern Territory.
