At The Peak Partnership, we recognise the importance of supporting the communities in which we do business.

We firmly believe in supporting those people who don't enjoy the same life opportunities that many of us do, particularly young people and the disadvantaged. Many of our staff actively contribute towards the firm's charitable fundraising initiatives on a regular basis.

Recent beneficiaries of our corporate and staff-initiated support include:

  • Royal Flying Doctor Service;
  • Queensland Cancer Fund and Australian Cancer Research Foundation;
  • Epilepsy Queensland;
  • Smith Family Trust
  • Surf Lifesaving Queensland;
  • Multiple Sclerosis Society of Queensland;
  • Motor Neurone Disease Australia; and
  • National Heart Foundation.

ACT for Kids (formerly the Abused Child Trust)

Our flagship community partner is ACT for Kids (previously known as the Abused Child Trust) - a great Australian charity that champions the protection, prevention and treatment of children suffering abuse and neglect. ACT for Kids' vision is to strive for zero child abuse, through key programmes including:

  • therapy for abused or at-risk children and families;
  • education for people working with children;
  • research on important child protection issues; and
  • advocacy on behalf of kids everywhere.

The Peak Partnership's commitment to ACT for Kids has included pro-bono accounting services, financial donations and strategic business advice. We've also been a sponsorship partner of their annual Charity Art Show. John Eales (our Senior Partner) has been a Board Member and Treasurer of ACT for Kids since 1992 - positions he holds in an honorary capacity.

Aid for the Blind

The Peak Partnership also supports Aid for the Blind, with Chris Coonan (our Lending Solutions Finance Broker) holding honorary Treasurer and Board Director positions.

Aid for the Blind provides accommodation and education for the visually-impaired, with 6 retail stores throughout the greater Brisbane area. Aid for the Blind also works with other blind and disabled associations to realise the best outcomes for visually-impaired people, through research and the subsequent improvement of services and facilities for people with vision-impairment.

Easts Junior Rugby League

Maintaining our community focus on youth, The Peak Partnership has been a supporter of Easts Junior Rugby League Club since 2011.

Not coincidentally, John Eales is a stalwart of East’s Rugby League and a firm believer that junior sport is a catalyst for character and comradarie. A fixture in the Tigers’ premiership first grade teams of the 1970s, John is a former Rothman’s Medal (Best and Fairest) winner and a member of the club’s 75th Anniversary Team.

As part of our support, all junior players at Easts will wear The Peak Partnership logo on their training shirts. To find out more about Easts Junior Rugby League and the benefits of playing junior football, click ob the Tigers logo below.
