Business Services Intermediate ACCOUNTANT

If you have 18 months or more experience in a business services accounting role in public practice, this might be your chance to discover a new career Peak.

We're looking for an intermediate level accountant, with an appropriate degree or diploma qualification, who is keen to undertake formal CA or CPA studies. If you haven't quite got the study runs on the board yet, but you have obvious accounting and client service talent, we want to know more about you.

Your day at work will look something like this:

• working directly with and learning from Damian Knoblanche (Director) and Zoe Gillard (Accounting Manager)
• preparing financial statements using Accountants Enterprise (AE) software;
• general ledger reconciliations;
• preparing tax returns; BAS, IAS, FBT returns for all types of business entities;
• identifying areas for business / wealth improvement;
• general accounting duties and preparing client advice.

Apart from technical ability and the usual stuff like computer skills (MS Office and Copilot, MYOB, Xero and other accounting software), we want someone who:

• has a client-is-everything mentality;
• is a confident communicator, with attention to detail;
• is open to learning and sharing new ideas; and
• really wants to be part of a dynamic team within a team.
