Receptionist (Director of First Impressions)

The Peak Partnership is looking for an energetic and experienced Receptionist/Administration Professional to be the front of office friendly face and voice of the firm.

This is a full-time position at our Upper Mt Gravatt office, where you'll work to help keep the office running smoothly, as well as working alongside and supporting our business accounting and financial planning teams. You'll come across clients daily, so client service attention to detail is high on the list.

Your day will look something like this:

  • welcoming clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive impression every time.
  • managing incoming phone calls, emails and correspondence.
  • scheduling appointments and managing the practice's calendar.
  • providing general administrative support, including filing, scanning, photocopying, data entry and other clerical duties.
  • processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • updating our debtor database with client payments.
  • maintaining a well-organised and tidy reception area.
  • ordering and restocking office supplies.
  • supporting the broader team with additional tasks as required.

Who are we looking for?

  • proven experience in a Receptionist / Administration role in a Professional Office.
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
  • strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • proficiency in using standard office equipment and software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • a positive, proactive and solutions-focused attitude.
  • the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
